Some Couple's Pre Marriage Journeys

After receiving the following two emails within five minutes of each other after weekend interviews, I thought it might be a good idea to start a page where 'snapshots' of the journey between me as Celebrant and the engaged couple can be captured!

Hi Greg and Kristie,
Well, wasn't it wonderful!

The children looked beautiful and played up to the camera perfectly. I'm sure you will treasure the photographs in years to come. And we ended up with a great crowd!! It must have made it even more special to have a family reunion at the same time. Everyone was so relaxed and just happy to be part of it I thought.
Thank you for your lovely planned gifts and your thoughtfulness in letting us keep that pen – it will be special every time we use it. It was one of those great journeys we had leading to wedding day, and everything was positive and happy on the day.

I hope you enjoyed your ceremony and that our paths cross again.

I'm sure you two WILL live happily every after but that is my wish for you.

Warmest regards,
Kate

Good afternoon Kate,
Just a quick email to keep in contact and to say a HUGE thank you once again for such a beautiful ceremony that you produced, our families are still raving about the day. Greg and I couldn't be happier about how the day turned out, it was exactly what we hoped for. Thanks for being a part of our special day :) Take care
Kristie and Greg. November, 2009.

Dear Kate,
Thank you for the email with our wording of the ceremony.
Reading it just then has brought tears in my eyes, it's so beautiful.
(Let's hope I get all the tears out now so I am not a mess on the day! J )
Thanks so very much

Thank you Kate,
It was so good to see you too... We left on cloud nine. I didn't even want to go to my hair appointment after that... we just wanted to spend the whole day together.
I will have a think about all the suggestions you offered.. Only 157 sleeps! haha

Hi Kate,
I would just like to say thankyou so much for doing a wonderful job on our wedding day. So many people commented on how wonderful you were - every one also loved the idea of the rose ceremony, thanks for the great idea! It's great to have something no one has seen or done. All over i had a wonderful day, it was just flawless and the ceremony was my favourite part, or that i could remember as the rest of the day just flew. But thanks again for your beautiful words and your lovely voice it just made the moment.
Thanks again,
Lisa Lowry. 6th April, 2007.

Stuart and Pamela "eloped" for a Gold Coast wedding at SeaWorld on 16th July. They sent this card:

Dear Kate and Neil,
Thank you Kate for your support in the lead up to our ceremony ..but most of all thank you for your wonderful presence and for conducting our marriage with such sincere reverence. It was truly the beautiful ceremony we had dreamed of and a wonderful start to our marriage.

A big thank you to Neil who is truly the "witness extraordinaire" of the Gold Coast.
